Bible Verse of the Day December 7, 2012

Bible Verse about Sacrifice:

Psalm 50:23

“Those who sacrifice thank offerings honor me, and to the blameless I will show my salvation.”

Message:

Many of us think that God desires the sacrifices we offer. Yes, he likes our sacrifices. But to speak exactly, God does not really desire the external sacrifices from us. Some people think that if they strain themselves and sacrifice, God hears their prayers. But that is not true.

What God means by sacrifice? God wants a sacrifice of your heart and not your body. He desires a sacrifice of thanksgiving from you. Every “thank you” you say to God honors Him. If you are clean-handed in all your ways, God will always show His mercy and deliver you. Offer to Him the exact sacrifice He really deserves, which is a sacrifice of thanks.

  1. Not to be horribly local, but the ilpmosion of the NJDOE’s leadership over the failed bid for Race the to Top funding. Not only has Schundler been shown the door (in August), but Christie has been shown to be an opportunistic liar (*DUH*), while 5 out of 6 Assistant Commissioner positions are now empty. In NJ, there is no state when it comes to Educational Policy. When it comes to the Politics of Education, however .fire up the popcorn maker.

  2. It depends on what type of VA disadabiladity inmcoe you’re in receipt of: Seradvice Conadnected Comadpenadsaadtion (which is the most comadmon) is not affected by SSDI, howadever dependading on how much you make SSI may be difadferadent. Non-service conadnected penadsion from VA is affected because it’s based off inmcoe. The best this to do is to call the VA at 800–827-1000 to know where youa0stand.
