Bible Verse of the Day March 8, 2013
“He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.”
Only if you are familiar about a particular topic or matter, you will be able to speak more about it during a chit-chat, group discussion or even in a public speech. You will be able to clarify the doubts of someone, only when you are well-versed in that field.
In the same way, only when you get strong hold of the Word of God and understand it, you will be able to teach others and answer their questions and doubts. Many people ask questions like, they find conflicts in Bible verses, they do not understand the meaning of a verse, are there mistakes in the Bible etc.
As we read the Bible everyday, let’s focus and concentrate on what God wants us to understand from that verse. Let’s not depend only on our understanding, instead get good counsel to know more about the Word of God. If you are already reading the Bible, encourage others also to read the Bible everyday.
