Bible Verse about Sleep

Bible Verse of the Day April 12, 2013

Psalm 4:8

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”

Message:

We all know that a person needs solid 8 hours of sleep in order to live a fresh and healthy life. We need good sleep, when our body goes weary and needs rest. When day-to-day problems chock our neck, we become sleepless and we think and think about solutions, to put an end to it. In the same time, too much sleeping as well as no sleep will spoil both your mind and body.

Remember, God is your safe dwelling place during times of trouble; He is your decision-maker; He is your financial advisor; He is your counselor; And so, sleep well in peace, for God will help you out to solve every problem.

I pray to God to give you the strength to overcome your problems.
Or else, cast your problems on Him and He will lighten your heart.

  5. Hello. I am a married American-Peruvian fatehr of 2 living and working in Chorrillos. I am looking for a new church. My wife and children aren’t fluent English speakers so I would like to know if you are associated with Spanish speaking church where I can visit with my family. By the way, I was an English teacher at ICPNA for many years and now I have my own Christian elementary school in Chorrillos.
