Matthew 11:28-29
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
Message:
We strive and work very hard everyday, without rest, so that we can relax in future. But each and every day, start and end with stress and anxiety. We often think it would have been much better, if we would have been children forever. When we were kids, our parents carried all family burden and we were happy. But as we grow up, we begin to carry responsibilities of our families and we become very busy.
Sometimes, we become restless and search for someone who can share our burden. As a family, husband and wife should share and carry each others burden. When we become tired, we need rest. God says, take my yoke and you will find rest. Since our God is humble and gentle in heart, He will always be there to carry your burden and He will give you peace. Seek Him and you will find rest.
