Psalms 119:11
“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”
Message
Memorizing was easy in our childhood. But as we grow up, our brain gets tired. Remember, what we memorize in our childhood stays with us until our old age.
Since we are all busy with our day-to-day tasks, we fail to read the Bible everyday and we also don’t have time teach our children about God’s mighty verses. Memorizing at least one verse a day is not that hard. Store each verse a day and you will be an asset of 365 verses, every year. You and your family will be filled with joy, wisdom and peace.
Store the Word of God in your hearts, as much as possible and prepare yourselves to face all tribulations which may come because of the faith and belief you have in God. We all invest our time on various things in our life.
Why don’t we start investing little of our time everyday in reading a verse and burying it deep inside our hearts, to stand firm in God?
Carry a verse everyday in your hearts and those mighty verses will carry you during all good or bad circumstances in your life.
This is so true.

I appreciate these words of wisdom. A verse a day can save a life and is so easy to do. What are we going to do when we go before God at our time and we didn’t do this will He say Good and faithful servant or say I never you?
It is true, am facing challenges now and i had started fearing but I remembered the verse God has not given me the Spirit of fear but of power, love and sound mind. I started reciting it and i felt peace.
Thanks so much.
Prayer and reading the Bible should go together, otherwise it results in poor spiritual life to depend on prayer alone without reading the Bible. AMEN…!
You need to find a good teacher, one who knows the vaiorus beliefs, the proper reading of scripture and modern terminology to relate what is happening in scripture to what is going on today. It certainly isn’t easy to understand with limited knowledge. It takes a lot of study to comprehend it all and at this point, only some of it really makes sense.Another thing to know is that God presents things on a very long term, overall viewpoint. Like daily volatile ups and downs in the stock market often don’t show the overall trends, neither does the news of the day show long term trends unless you know what to look for. I’m reading a book about societies and cultures of the world found in my library that is helping me understand this greatly. I find multiple sources and viewpoints help. Check some of these:
