Bible Verse about Power of Words:
“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
Though, tongue is one of the parts of our body, the way how we use it returns good and bad rewards. We use it for good as well as bad.
We use it to bless someone, at the same time, curse someone; We use it to praise someone and gossip about someone; If you use your tongue (your words) in the right manner without hurting anyone, then the fruits of it will never make you regret. When you are using it to cause bad name to someone, then you hold complete accountability for it.
So be wise when you speak and always think before you speak. Ask God to guide you on how to handle your words, so that it brings happiness alone and not hatred.
Bible Verse about Living for God:
“If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”
Without God, you and me are not there in this world. So whether you live or whether you die, live for God. The most important thing is, remember that you always belong to God and you are accountable to Him for all your words and actions. So until you live in this world, try not to hurt anybody, instead love each other. Try not to be selfish, instead share and satisfy others. Carry God’s love and teachings within yourself and wherever you go, share it with others.
Bible Verse about Giving:
“Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.”
Give what you owe to others. Make sure to return, what you have received from others. If you have received love, share it back. If you have gained respect from others, then respect them back. Never hesitate to give what you have received.
Bible Verse about Words:
Proverbs 16: 24
“Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.”
Whenever you speak with others, always try to be polite and speak with kindness and courtesy. You words can comfort a soul and can also hurt a soul. So remember that, your words are sweet and comforting.
Bible Verse about Respecting God:
“We have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live!”
When our father or mother disciplines us, even though we sometimes get angry, we never fail to respect them. The same attitude must be with our heavenly Father too. God, sometimes disciplines us, in order to make us turn away from our sinful life. When He corrects you, never disobey Him. Have respect in Him, much more than you have respect for any other person.
