Bible Verses about Gossip

Bible Verse about Gossip

Bible Verse of the Day 4th January:

1 Timothy 5:13

“Besides, they get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also busybodies who talk nonsense, saying things they ought not to.”

Message:

Nobody feel bad and ashamed when they gossip about someone. Without utilizing the valuable time for a better reason, some of us waste it by gossiping. The Bible says that gossiping becomes a habit when someone is idle. So if you are struggling hard to stop this habit then, never keep yourself idle. Engage your time and efforts on things which are useful and beneficial to you and others. Realize from this verse that gossiping is just nonsense and it is just a waste of time.

Bible Verse of the Day 25th July

Ephesians 4:29

“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”

Message:

Avoid offensive words from your mouth, at times of anger, depression, loss or any type of emotion it may be. Always watch out your words, because they bring both joy and grief to yourself and others. It’s a known fact that, words once spilt out cannot be taken back. So, use words which could really help others to grow and get benefited.

Bible Verse of the Day 19th May

Proverbs 4:23

“Guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

Message:

How does a person guard his heart? The formula is very easy only if you practice it. Guard your eyes from watching bad things; Guard your ears from hearing evil; Guard your tongue from speaking ill about others and using unnecessary words; Guard your hands from doing harm to others; Guard your feet from going to wrong and unwanted places. If you follow these principles, guarding your heart becomes very simple Smile
