Psalms 143:9

“Rescue me from my enemies, Lord, for I hide myself in you.”


When your spirit fails and when there is no one near by you to listen to your cry for mercy, your life becomes hopeless and broken. Though you are righteous, are you feeling ashamed in front of your enemies? Who can you depend and rely on? Who can bring you out of trouble? Who can shower mercy and love no matter how you react?

It is no one, other than God. Only His mighty name can preserve your life. Only His mighty presence can lead you one stable land. Only He can show you the way you should go. When you find refuge in God, He will hide you from all shadows of darkness and rescue you from all distress and agony.

He is the strong refuge where you can find peace and so never let go of Him. Get strong hold in the name of God and He will keep you get going with confidence and courage in your life.

Isaiah 32:18

“The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever. My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.”


We often face various disasters in our life and it may or may not cause sudden damage or distress in our lives. Nature and its calamities can never be controlled by us and it impacts never fades away from our hearts.

How blessed are we, children of God, to stay protected?

Since you were righteous, God has set your dwelling place in safety. He has secured your life from all dangers and He will protected you forever. Do not feel insecure.

Though you may live in uncertain situations, you will still be blessed. The righteous will always live in the fertile field. Your righteousness will be rewarded with peaceful life and hope. God is watching your every move!

Psalms 139:7

“Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?”


At times, you may think that your friends did not understand you; Your parents wouldn’t have realized your true nature; Your children would have neglected your care and love for them. But do not worry, God knows you and understands you more than anybody else could.

He perceives every thought and feeling of yours. He is very very familiar with all your emotions and He is completely aware of what you can and what you cannot. Since God knows you very well, you needn’t have to get frustrated about human negligence.

Do not fear whether you would rise among them or fall in front of them, God’s hand will guide you. His right hand will hold you fast when you slip away. His presence will always be with you and His blessings for you would outnumber the grains of sand.
