Bible Verse about being Children of God

Bible Verse of the Day 25th October:

John 1:12-13

“To all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God – children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.”

Message:

God has made it very simple for us all, on how to become His child. You may think that you are a big sinner and God will never accept you, but for God, you are always His child. Never forget this truth. Cast away all your sins and receive Him in your heart. Have trust in Him and believe that He is the true God. Any time and in any situation, you have the right to become His child.  But do not take that as an advantage and remain drowned in sin. Repent and accept God in your life, to receive His blessings.

Bible Verse about obeying your Parents

Bible Verse of the Day 23rd October:

Colossians 3:20

“Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.”

Message:

It is the duty of every parent that, children from young age, should be taught about fear of God, obedience, respect to others and should be given small responsibilities. Only then, they will get into a habit to follow them, when they grow up. If parents fail to teach good things to their children, at the early stage, it becomes difficult for the child to follow your instructions and obey you. Children in turn, should realize the suffering of your parents and the various sacrifices your parents have done for you, to give you a bright future. Do not ignore them and disobey them. If you do so, you not only displease your parents but also displease God.

Bible Verse of the Day 4th May

Ephesians 6:4:

“Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”

Message:

Parents have the major responsibility for the future of their child. Fathers, do not cause irritation and get angry on your children. Instead, train your child through your good way of living and give instructions if your child is up to bad company, bad habits and help him to get rid of them. Parents are accountable to God.
