Bible Verse of the Day September 21, 2012

Bible Verse about Guilt:

Ezekiel 18:20

“The one who sins is the one who will die.The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.”

Few people say that the sins and curses of their forefathers follow their family and hence they suffer from God’s punishment. It is not true. As the Bible says, if you have sinned then, you are accountable to God and nobody else. If you are righteous then, you will receive the credit of righteousness. If you are wicked then, you will receive the credit of wickedness. You are the one who is accountable to God for your sins. Realize this and sin no more.

Bible Verse about Understanding:

Proverbs 27:23

“Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds.”

In many families, people live without understanding and knowing about each other. Within families, we fail to respect each others likes and dislikes. We fail to spend time communicating with the members of the family due to official work or some other top priorities we may have. As we read in the Bible, know your people, your husband, your wife, your children, your parents, your friends. Pay attention when they speak with you and do not ignore them, just like that. Show your love, affection and care each and everyday.

Bible Verse about Obeying your Parents:

Ephesians 6:1

“Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.”

Most of the time, children do not like the guidance of their parents nor they like advices. Sometimes, children completely neglect their parents and live on their own understanding. Without teaching children cannot learn good habits and put them into practice. So parents, teach your children from their childhood about discipline and respecting others. And Children, as the Bible says, always honor and obey your parents. Their valuable and timely instructions will surely save you one day, from making a huge mistake.
