Bible Verses about Far from GOD

Bible Verse of the Day April 19, 2012

Bible Verse about Temple of God:

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”

Message:

You are the temple of God. Remember that you belong to God and you cannot simply do all what you like. You are God’s asset and you are so much valuable to Him. So honor God’s commandments and keep yourself free from all evil.

Bible Verse about Seeking God:

Psalm 42:1

“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.”

Message:

Seek God every day like the deer which pants for water. Never stop seeking God, until your thirst for Him is complete. If you are far from His presence, turn back towards the living water and He will fill your soul with peace.

Bible Verse of the Day 11th April

1 Corinthians 3:16-17

“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.”

Message:

Whenever you try to commit sin, remember that you are the temple of God and do not sin. God wants you to be free from evil because it will destroy you completely. Have control over your thoughts, words and actions to protect God’s temple.

Bible Verses to Read When You Feel Sinful And Far From God

Far from GodIn my alarm I said,

“I am cut off from your sight!”

Yet you heard my cry for mercy

when I called to you for help.

Love the LORD, all his saint s!

The LORD preserves the faithful,

but the proud he pays back in full.

Be strong and take heart,

all you who hope in the LORD – Psalms 31: 22-24

Have mercy on me, O God,

according to your unfailing love;

according to your great compassion

blot out my transgressions.

Wash away all my iniquity

and cleanse me from my sin.

For I know my transgressions,

and my sin is always before me.

Against you, you only, have I sinned

and done what is evil in your sight,

so that you are proved right when you speak

and justified when you judge.

Surely I was sinful at birth,

sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
