Bible Verses about Doubt

Bible Verse of the Day 10th October

James 1:5-6

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.”

Message:

Wisdom is not only needed in your childhood, to clear the examinations and tests. Wisdom is also required throughout your life to plan out things and reach all your desires. Ask God to grant you that wisdom and He will give it to you generously, without any partiality. Do not doubt God but have faith in Him. Do not get tossed by the wind of uncertainty but believe that, with God, nothing is impossible.

Bible Verse of the Day 8th May

Matthew 5:28

“I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

Message:

Many family relationships break up due to a person’s lack of self control. A man who looks at another woman with lustful eyes has committed sin. The same rule applies for woman. Always think that your husband/wife is the beautiful person in the world and no one can take his/her place in your life. Remember this verse, get rid of all the things which may bring in distrust. By doing so, you will surely be the best husband, best wife, best parent, and can build a firm family.

Bible Verses to Read When You Are Doubting

DoubtingHe replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm – Matthew 8:26

If anyone chooses to do God’s will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own – John 7:17

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. 4By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings – Hebrews 11:1-2
