Bible Verse about Chosen People

Bible Verse of the Day January 25, 2013

1 Peter 2:9

“You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

Without God, we will be in the darkness of sin, sorrow and weakness. Only through His mighty presence, we are still living healthy, protective and happy. God has chosen everyone of us as His beloved children and we all possess His mercy and kindness throughout our life in this world.

So let’s rejoice in the Lord and praise His deeds and goodness. We are all chosen by Him to be under His presence of eternal light. Declare to the world about His mighty words, His mercy and His love. Show other’s that, God is the only way to turn their life of darkness into light.

Bible Verse about Fellowship:

Matthew 25:40

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Nowadays, we find only very few people with helping tendency. In this fast running world, people always like to stick with their own growth and problems and never find time or even think about helping others. We live within our circle of family, friends and well-wishers and do not wish to come out and lend a hand.

God created the entire human life and He loved everyone. He was born for everyone; He preached the gospel to everyone; He died for everyone; He forgave and saved everyone. We are all God’s children and when it comes to helping/hurting others, remember God resides in them. So, you are not actually helping someone unknown, but you are helping God. You are not hurting someone, instead you are hurting God.

Bible Verse about God’s Promises:

Isaiah 49:16

“See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.”

We all make a note of the important things we wish to do, remember or that are precious in our life. In the same way, God says that He has engraved you in His palms. How much important and precious you are to Him? He always remembers you, cares for you and loves you. You are so precious in God’s hands.
