Bible Verses about Money

Bible Verse of the Day 18th September

Luke 19:26

“I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what they have will be taken away.”

Message:

I just want to compare this parable with the rich and poor factor. You can see in this world, that many people strive hard to cross the poverty line and get a financial independence. In this same world, you can also see that the rich get more richer. This difference is mainly because, the poor earn money but spend it without saving or investing it in the right way. They always borrow loan and pay interests throughout their life and have nothing saved for their future. They only run their life on credit.

Whereas the rich, plan and spend their money and save for the future. As a result, their savings make them more richer. So, you can clearly see that, the poor getting poorer and the rich getting richer. Bible says, if you have money or if you invest and save money(even little), God will bless you with more. If you spend money and live only for the moment without proper investment, you will lose everything you have earned and will be in a huge trouble as days pass by.

Bible Verse of the Day 16th June

Proverbs 22:7

“The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.”

Message:

Try not to borrow money from others. Make your expenses with the money what you have. If you don’t have the money to meet your expectations then, limit your expectations. Unless it is an emergency, do not borrow money from anyone. If borrowing becomes a practise, then you will become a slave to the person who gave you the money. Make your own money to meet your needs. Ask God to give you the power to work and earn your money.

Bible Verse of the Day 3rd May

Ezekiel 28:4

“By your wisdom and understanding you have gained wealth for yourself and amassed gold and silver in your treasuries.”

Message:

God does not hate people who make money through their wisdom, sincerity and hard work. Making money is not a sin, but having surplus amount of money and not helping anyone, when they are in need is a sin. Be generous to the needy, if you are rich.
