Exodus 20:7

“You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.”

Message:

Ask anything in God’s name and He will do it for you. But you should not misuse His name. Never make fake promises using His name in order to prove that you are innocent or to make others understand that you have not done any mistake. Do not use God’s name in vain.
