Bible Verses about Righteousness

Bible Verse of the Day May 19, 2012

Bible Verse about Corruption:

Ephesians 4:22-24

“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”

Message:

It is a fact that, past cannot be changed but future can be planned and lived the way you like it. If you are aware of your sins, it is not too late, you can change the attitude of your mind and transform into a new person. What Bible teaches you is – Forget about your old life, renew yourself and live a holy and sinless life.

Bible Verse of the Day April 25, 2012

Bible Verse about the World:

John 15:18-19

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.”

Message:

God came into this world to save the sinners but He was betrayed by His own people. The same situation would have happened to many of us. In this world, the righteous people are always hated because they are not suitable or get involved with this sinful world. No matter, the world and its people hate you. Remember, God has chosen you and He always loves you.

Bible Verse of the Day April 8, 2012

Bible Verse about Loving your Enemy:

Matthew 5:43-45

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.”

Message:

Being human, we all know that, it is really very difficult to forgive our enemies. But God says, being His children, we should posses His qualities such as forgiving others and loving them . All you can do is, pray to God to change their hearts of hatred and vengeance.

Bible Verse of the Day February 29, 2012

Bible Verse about God Cares for You:

Psalm 55:22

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.

Message:

Each one of us have so many responsibilities and we all strive hard to meet our desires and achieve success. We put in our efforts on different tasks, in order to make our family happy and to supply all their needs. But, when things do not go in the right direction, as expected, cast all your worries on God. He will take care of everything for you and will wipe out all your anxieties. Do not be shaken because God will surely supply all your needs.

Bible Verse of the Day February 27, 2012

Bible Verse about Confession of Sins:

1 John 1:8-9

“If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Message:

We behave good to others and can also make others think that we are righteous. We can hide things from human but, we cannot hide it from God.  We may think that God doesn’t know about our secret sins but we only become dishonest with ourselves. If we try to confess our sins to God, He is open-handed to forgive us and purify us from all our sins. Are you ready to confess your sins to Him and enjoy a new life which He is waiting to provide you?

Bible Verse for Christmas

Bible Verse of the Day 24th December:

Isaiah 61:11

“For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.”

Message:

As a small seed sprout out and become a huge tree, so as God was born for us and has sowed His seeds of love, peace, forgiveness, righteousness etc. So lets be fruitful and yield the best results and make Him happy. Do not let God’s purpose in you, go in vain. Let His name be praised among all nations.

Bible Verse about Obedience

Bible Verse of the Day 6th December:

Romans 5:19

“For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.”

Message:

As we all know that, sin came into this world through one man called Adam and through him we became sinners. But God sacrificed Himself for us and made us pure as the snow. In the same way, one man’s obedience and righteousness will protect the entire family from all disasters and destructions. So take efforts from now on to live an obedient life, pleasing God.
