“Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.”
When you are worried about something and think you could not solve it alone, then speak out. Approach someone who is dear to you and who can really comfort you. Because, kind words always lighten your heart’s burden. When you do not find anyone on earth, who could really comfort you with that matter, God is always there to comfort you.
The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble – Psalm 9:9
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold – Psalm 18:2
For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help – Psalm 22:24
The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever – Psalm 23
