Bible Verse about Word of God

Psalms 119:11

“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”

Memorizing was easy in our childhood. But as we grow up, our brain gets tired. Remember, what we memorize in our childhood stays with us until our old age.

Since we are all busy with our day-to-day tasks, we fail to read the Bible everyday and we also don’t have time teach our children about God’s mighty verses. Memorizing at least one verse a day is not that hard. Store each verse a day and you will be an asset of 365 verses, every year. You and your family will be filled with joy, wisdom and peace.

Store the Word of God in your hearts, as much as possible and prepare yourselves to face all tribulations which may come because of the faith and belief you have in God. We all invest our time on various things in our life.

Why don’t we start investing little of our time everyday in reading a verse and burying it deep inside our hearts, to stand firm in God?

Carry a verse everyday in your hearts and those mighty verses will carry you during all good or bad circumstances in your life.

Bible Verse of the Day November 27, 2012

Bible Verse about Pure Heart:

Psalm 51:10

“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

When you face failure and lose hope, ask God to give you a new heart which is filled with courage and confidence. When you really repent for you sins and realize that you have sinned against God, ask God to bless you with a pure heart which is filled with stable and firm spirit.

Nothing can shake that spirit, when the God Almighty has given it to you. But always remember not to corrupt that pure heart and spirit with evil and sin again. Make a promise to yourself, that you will keep it pure as God gave it to you.

Bible Verse of the Day September 21, 2012

Bible Verse about Guilt:

Ezekiel 18:20

“The one who sins is the one who will die.The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.”

Few people say that the sins and curses of their forefathers follow their family and hence they suffer from God’s punishment. It is not true. As the Bible says, if you have sinned then, you are accountable to God and nobody else. If you are righteous then, you will receive the credit of righteousness. If you are wicked then, you will receive the credit of wickedness. You are the one who is accountable to God for your sins. Realize this and sin no more.
