Bible Verse about Giving Thanks

Ephesians 5:19-20

Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In this world, we can’t find much people who are thankful to our actions. Though we are liberal, we are only cheated and forgotten.

Same thing happens to God. He is the creator of such a beautiful world; He is the creator of the universe; He is the creator of you and me. We receive so many blessings from Him each and everyday.

But, do we remember Him? No… not many of us. Often, we do not be grateful and thankful to Him for all what we have received from Him. He has given you life, to see this world and taste wonderful things in your life.

Give thanks for everything. Be thankful everyday to Him and He will make your life more happy.

Bible Verse about Thanksgiving

Psalm 69:30

“I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.”

“Thank you” is just two words but its value is very very huge for someone who hear it from us. But many people do not have the habit of saying “Thank you” when they get help from someone. The help may be big or small, but a timely help received from any person, should really be rewarded whole-heartedly.

When we so much think to appreciate and reward people who support us, how much should we be grateful to God who has done each and everything for our own good from our childhood till our time of death?

You need not have to spend days or months to thank God. Just spend a second or minute everyday, to remember all the good things He has done for you.

Say “Thank You” whenever you get time; Say “Thank You” for keeping you healthy; Say “Thank You” for every success you taste; Say “Thank You” for all the blessings you have received. “Thank You” always means a lot… So from now on never hesitate to say “Thank You” to both God and people!

Bible Verse about Sacrifice:

Psalm 50:23

“Those who sacrifice thank offerings honor me, and to the blameless I will show my salvation.”

Many of us think that God desires the sacrifices we offer. Yes, he likes our sacrifices. But to speak exactly, God does not really desire the external sacrifices from us. Some people think that if they strain themselves and sacrifice, God hears their prayers. But that is not true.

What God means by sacrifice? God wants a sacrifice of your heart and not your body. He desires a sacrifice of thanksgiving from you. Every “thank you” you say to God honors Him. If you are clean-handed in all your ways, God will always show His mercy and deliver you. Offer to Him the exact sacrifice He really deserves, which is a sacrifice of thanks.
