Bible Verse about Power of God

Bible Verse of the Day March 14, 2013

Deuteronomy 8:17-18

“You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which He swore to your ancestors, as it is today.”

Message:

You may be wise and intelligent. You may be strong and powerful. You may be wealthy and rich. Some people think that it is all because of their own strength and they wish to be praised. Many times they feel proud of themselves. Are you really sure that everything was done only by you??? No…

Never forget that, without God, you are nothing. You can do nothing without His authority and blessing. God is the one who gave you the wisdom to think and react. He is the one, who gave you the strength and ability to produce wealth. When you become tired and weary, ask God to bless you with His power. As He promised your ancestors, He keeps His promises. Never neglect Him. Begin to count your blessings everyday and praise Him.

Bible Verse about Wealth:

Deuteronomy 8:17-18

“You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.”

Message:

Many people, for example our family members, relatives, colleagues, like the word “Me” instead of “We”. As humans, we always like to be praised by others and always be a step ahead of others. When you do something great and when others appreciate your good work, remember it is not only you who has done it, but both God and you. It is He who has given you the ability and strength to reach your targets. The wisdom to achieve something and the wealth gained through it is given by God. So let us not seek praise for ourselves instead, praise God!

Bible Verse about Hard Work:

Proverbs 13:4

“A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.”

Message:

If you put in your efforts and work hard, you will surely be satisfied with all what you do and you will be blessed abundantly throughout your life. But if you are lazy and effortless, then you will only receive a pocket size blessing, even though you desire more.
