Bible Verse of the Day March 8, 2013
“He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.”
Only if you are familiar about a particular topic or matter, you will be able to speak more about it during a chit-chat, group discussion or even in a public speech. You will be able to clarify the doubts of someone, only when you are well-versed in that field.
In the same way, only when you get strong hold of the Word of God and understand it, you will be able to teach others and answer their questions and doubts. Many people ask questions like, they find conflicts in Bible verses, they do not understand the meaning of a verse, are there mistakes in the Bible etc.
As we read the Bible everyday, let’s focus and concentrate on what God wants us to understand from that verse. Let’s not depend only on our understanding, instead get good counsel to know more about the Word of God. If you are already reading the Bible, encourage others also to read the Bible everyday.
Bible Verse of the Day February 14, 2013
“I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand, I who set the heavens in place, who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, ‘You are my people.”
Who created the heaven and earth? Is it science? No… It is God who created the heaven and set the foundations of this world we live in. You and me are His children.
The word of God should always stay in your hearts and mind so that it flows through your mouth. God who created this entire world will protect you with His mighty arms.
Bible Verse of the Day February 11, 2013
“Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me – put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”
There is a wording which says, “Practice makes a man perfect”. It is so true… Though our parents and elders teach so many good things in our childhood, we remember certain things only and put them into our daily practice and that stays
In the same way, Bible has countless blessings and good teachings in it. It is a treasure for every person and family. So we should not read the Bible for name sake and just forget the Word of God. Instead, we should engrave every Word into our hearts and put them into practice and live according to what God teaches through every verse we read.
