Bible Verses about Worship

Bible Verse of the Day March 10, 2012

Bible Verse about Worship:

John 4:24

”God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Message:

Do we worship God simply because all others do? Or do we really worship God for all His good and wonderful deeds He has done for us? Let our worship be filled with truth and thankfulness. Worship God with your whole heart and spirit.

Bible Verse of the Day February 22, 2012

Bible Verse about how to Worship God:

1 Chronicles 16:11-12

“Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, His miracles, and the judgments he pronounced.”

Message:

How do we worship God? Most of the time, we only pray to God, demanding for our needs and desires. We do not remember the good things He has done for us; We do not remember His wonders and miracles; We forget to praise His name and thank Him for His grace and mercy on us; The right way to worship God is, to be grateful to Him, thank Him for all what you have received already and then, let Him know your needs and desires.

Bible Verse about Worshiping God

Bible Verse of the Day 14th January:

Romans 12:1

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”

Message:

As we all know that, we are the temple of God, we should keep our body, mind and soul holy. God does not want our sacrifices. Instead, He want us all to be a living sacrifice by staying away from evil. Such a life is a true and proper way to worship God.

Bible Verses on Worship and Dance Before The Lord

DanceFor the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea. And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances. And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea – Exodus 15:19-21

Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you – Exodus 23:25

Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God – Exodus 34:14

Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy in his dwelling place. Ascribe to the LORD, O families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength, ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name. Bring an offering and come before him; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness – Duet 16:27-29

“Hear this, you kings! Listen, you rulers! I will sing to the LORD, I will sing; I will make music to the LORD, the God of Israel.” – Judges 5:3
