Bible Verse about Worship

John 4:24

God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.

How should one worship the Lord?

Most often, we all have this question, because each person have their own style of worshiping God. Offerings and sacrifices were one way of worshiping God.

But the worship which God prefers is worshiping Him with spirit and truth. True followers of God will only worship Him this way and they are the worshipers the Father seeks.

Bible Verse about Sacrifice

Romans 12:1

“I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, this is your true and proper worship.”

People sacrifice animals, plants and sometimes human being as a sacrifice to God, to get what they desire or as an act of worship. In real life, one of the well-known sacrifice, which happens in most of the family is, parents sacrifice their luxury and happiness for the welfare of their children. Some people sacrifice things with expectations and some do not expect anything in return but sacrifice various things because of love.

What type of sacrifice did God teach us all? What type of sacrifice does God expect from us? His sacrifice for us can never be compared with anything else. He does not require gold, silver or life from you. All He desires from you is a holy body and a sinless life which will always please Him. Offer Him your holiness and receive His mercy. That’s what is so called true and proper way of worshiping Him. So let’s sacrifice and worship in the right manner to receive God’s mercy and blessing.

Bible Verse of the Day May 23, 2012

Bible Verse about Worship:

Psalms 95:6

“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.”

We estimate and spend our time to complete our daily tasks but, not many of us spend some time to worship the Lord. How much importance should we give for God, who is the creator of all what we see? Worship the Lord the way you like; Bow down and praise His almighty name; Worship Him through songs of praise.
