Bible Verse of the Day June 10, 2012

Bible Verse about Wealth:

Deuteronomy 8:17-18

“You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.”

Message:

Many people, for example our family members, relatives, colleagues, like the word “Me” instead of “We”. As humans, we always like to be praised by others and always be a step ahead of others. When you do something great and when others appreciate your good work, remember it is not only you who has done it, but both God and you. It is He who has given you the ability and strength to reach your targets. The wisdom to achieve something and the wealth gained through it is given by God. So let us not seek praise for ourselves instead, praise God!

Bible Verse about God’s Gift

Bible Verse of the Day 14th December:

Ecclesiastes 5:19

“Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.”

Message:

If you are wealthy and happy now, then it is God’s Gift. Accept His gift and live your life happily. But always remember that your actions should be truthful, honest and you should do things which always pleases God. Do not misuse the wonderful gift of God.

Bible Verse about Hope in God

Bible Verse of the Day 2nd December:

1 Timothy 6:17-19

“Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.”

Message:

Do not hesitate to talk to your rich friends and relations, that hope in wealth alone can do no good to anyone. Everyone should have their hope in God and do good deeds. As this verse strictly says, we should not only be rich in wealth but also be rich in doing good to others. If you honor God in the first place, He will bless you with treasures for all your generations to come.
